  • Shot on Assignment for NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Magazine.  Lynn Lloyd owner of the Red Rock Hounds Club in the heart of Sagebrush country.  The hunts are the same as the traditional fox hunts back east except the quarry is Coyote instead.

  • Shot on assignment for NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC WORLD Magazine. technicians at the U.S. Department of Fish and Wildlife Forensic crime lab work in the agencies taxidermy collection  called {quote}Forensic Park{quote}. Scientists conduct CSI type forensic science on evidence to solve crimes against wildlife.
  • To me no other single icon says {quote}tropical paradise{quote} like the palm tree. I get the sensation of warm trade winds, sandy bare feet and a slower pace that brings a smile to my face.
  • Surfers at Kepuhi beach leave the surf at sunset.
  • Shot on assignment for AIR & SPACE Smithsonian Magazine.  Workmen at the Sproat lake Flying Tankers aerial firefighting base on Vancouver, Island, B.C. make repairs to a wing flap from the one of the Martin Mars flying boats that is used to drop water on remote forest fires. The huge amphibious planes can deliver 7200 gallons in a single load.
  • Shot for NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Magazine. Pilot Craig Fountain releases a stream of smoke to test for wind drift before spraying his load of agricultural chemicals.  This photo was taken using a remote camera attached to the upper wing of the Gruman Ag-cat biplane and triggered by a radio transmitter.
  • Shot for NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Magazine. A BLM helicopter and riders on horseback round up wild horses on public land in southwestern Wyoming. The coverage on wild horses was part of a year long photo assignment for NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Magazine that produced an essay on the great basin region {quote}Sagebrush Country: Americas Outback{quote}.
  • Shot for NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC Magazine. The world hang glider championships at Dead Horse State park near Moab, Utah.
  • Shot for photo book on Spokane.  A nurse in a hospital neo-natal intensive care unit caresses a tiny preemie baby in an incubator.
  • Shot for a photo book about Spokane Washingtons annual Bloomsday Run. An elite runner logging training miles at sunset in preparation for the 10k Bloomsday run.
  • Shot on assignment for SMITHSONIAN Magazine.  While shooting a story on the Kamchatka Penninsula of the Russian far east I visited a boxing gym in Petropavlosk where young boxers trained under the watchful eye of {quote}Rocky Balboa{quote} .  Yo Svetlana!
  • Shot for photo book on University of Alberta, Harmony House Publishers. Fun was had by all at a Fraternity party at the Edmonton University.
  • Shot for photo book on Spokane, WA. Two retired employees of the historic Spokane Davenport hotel greet with a kiss at a reunion for past employees.
